Wednesday Evening 7:00pm to 9:00pm - Woodworking session

Note: Finishing times are approximate

If you wish to join us you are welcome to attend either venue. The Friday meetings in Old Colwyn tend to be of a social nature but we do try to invite a variety of speakers on different subjects as often as we can. This helps to keep the morning lively and interesting and gives us plenty to talk about. We like nothing better than a cuppa and a chinwag. To find our meeting place in Old Colwyn use the instructions below. Pay attention to the photo as the Community Centre can sometimes be difficult to see from the road, especially when the trees are in full leaf. To find our Rhiw Road premises see below:

If you use your sat-nav the postcode LL29 9UG should take you straight there. If you don't have a sat-nav then follow these instructions: From the A55 junction 22 take the turning inland towards the A547 (Abergele Road) where you will come to a roundabout with five exits. There is a pub on one corner of this roundabout called the Marine. Take the road to the right of the Marine (Llanelian Road). Pentre Newydd is about three tenths of a mile from that roundabout (check your odometer). The community centre is set back behind the trees as per the photo below

Our Rhiw Road workshop in Colwyn Bay consists of two garages that used to belong to North Wales Police but lay empty for a number of years until we came along. It is easily found and just a few minutes walk from the main bus route through the town. Rhiw Road is situated to the left of St Paul's church, and our workshop is about 50 yards from the junction with Abergele Road (just behind the Town Hall). The postcode is LL29 7TE and your satnav should take you straight there. IMPORTANT: Please note, while there is a small car park in front of our premises, it is now privately owned and not available for our or our visitors' use, please park on the road or on the Council pay & display car park on Douglas Road.
